Alma's Cakes

Alma's Cakes is Houston's premier bakery offering custom solutions for any occasion.

Every small business has its beginning. Ours started back in the summer of 1977 when Alma started taking cake decorating classed in Southeast Houston.

For many years, she was making cakes from home for family and close friends. As time progressed, the opportunities did as well. Alma first landed on the scene decorating for Randalls in Northwest Houston. There she amazed everyone that bought a cake. Over time, Alma worked for Sam's Club until she decided to go into business for herself. In the Spring of 1999, contruction was started to open her own bakery.

In the late summer of 1999, Alma's Cakes was opened to the public. Since then, she has been serving the greater Houston area with great tasting cakes. Her most famous cake is her very own Tres Leches.

Wedding Cake Central

Our serving size price is very competitive within the Houston market. We do our best to keep our prices below the big name shops without breaking your bank.

Important details for you to know:

• 25% Deposit is required to secure the event date upon placing the order.
• The wedding cake must be paid in full one week prior to your event date.
• Payments may be made by phone with credit card or you may mail in installments. **(E-Mail Invoices may be sent out upon customer request)
• There is a $50 cancellation fee that will be assessed if the event is cancelled within 7 days of the event.
• We must have at least 3 working contact numbers to reach you or another point person.

Some ideas on what you want to think about before you come in:

• How many guests?
• Will you need the cake to be delivered?
• If delivery needed, where will the cake be delivered to?
• If you have some pictures of ideas that you would like for your cake, please bring them with you.
• What color scheme would you like your cake to have?
• Ideas on special designs?
• Will you want fresh flowers on the cake? If so, do you have a florist who will provide you with those flowers?

Appointments are scheduled Tuesday - Thursday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. No appointments on Saturday, Sunday or Monday.
